We started as a company specialized in information technology, and over time we have evolved into an ecosystem of comprehensive services, structured in three major verticals: Genesyss (IT and software), Kinessik (BPO and staffing solutions) and Serknoss (impact and social projects).

Our history
A new beginning
Vladimir Caghuana, after an outstanding career in companies such as ABB (Asea Brown Boveri), Caja Agraria, Procecom and the United States Embassy in Colombia, began his path as an entrepreneur and visionary at a key moment: the boom in the adoption of information technologies in Colombia. From the Colombian Caribbean, he began to provide hardware solutions for homes and SMEs, with the conviction that technology should be accessible and useful for everyone. This initial phase as an independent was supported by the company Acsecom, which provided operational and commercial support during the first steps of the project.
Foundation of Compgenioss
Compgenioss was born in Barranquilla in 1998 with a clear purpose: to structure a technology services operation with a customer centric approach and growth potential. After two years in the field, the company formally established itself as a provider of hardware solutions for the B2B and B2C segments.
Exponential growth
In less than a year, the company grows from 4 to more than 12 employees. The areas of Research & Development and Software Development are created. Sales growth of more than 300% is achieved and a strategic alliance is consolidated with Promigas, an emblematic client that continues to this day.
Intelligent connectivity
We started a new line of services: Communications Network Infrastructure. The vision has always been clear: to integrate technology with purpose.
Scaling up to the corporate sector
We have gone from serving SMEs to large corporations such as Promigas, Tecnoglass, Procaps, Terpel, Olímpica, among others.
We reached more than 30 employees and became the first company in the IT sector in the northern coast of Colombia to obtain ISO 9001 certification.
SIOGAS is born, our flagship software for the Oil & Gas sector, still in force and operating in five of the main natural gas companies in the country.
From distributors to consultants
We strengthen our capabilities in software development, IT and strategic consulting. Médula, a solution for the healthcare sector, is created, expanding our presence in highly regulated and mission-critical sectors.
National recognition
We received the Ingenio Award from Fedesoft for the development of SIOGAS, a recognition of our capacity for innovation in high-impact solutions for the national industry.
Public and environmental impact
We began operations with the Colombian government, developing the first decision-making system on climate change in Latin America in conjunction with the Ministry of the Environment.
We opened offices in Bogota to attend projects of national scope and launched our line of Impact and Social Development Projects, together with our strategic ally K-HUA GPC.
We developed the Administrative and Financial Management System for the Metropolitan Area of Barranquilla.
Our BPO operation is born
We reached 500 employees and our BPO services line was born, strengthening our management, customer service and specialized remote support capabilities.
One thousand people, one purpose
We reached more than 1,000 collaborators linked to our company for the execution of large-scale national projects.
Consolidation
We inaugurated our current headquarters in Barranquilla, reaffirming our commitment to the region and its business development.
Social and technological expansion
We created the Serknoss Foundation to structure our social development initiatives.
We initiated technological alliances with Aveva, Sagicc and Colsein, expanding our capabilities in industrial platforms, omnichannel and automation.
New era, new brands
We took a step towards internationalization with the opening of our first subsidiary in the United States. We updated our corporate image to represent our essence: Unbounded Development, and restructured the company into three strategic verticals:
- Genesyss: IT solutions, software and infrastructure.
- Kinessik: BPO services and staffin solutions.
- Serknoss: Social development and impact projects.
Today, Compgenioss is more than a technology company: we are a network of knowledge, innovation and commitment to sustainable development, guided by a vision of unbounded development.
